The Test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. When you are planning to study abroad in a country where English is the native language, it is mandatory to get through the entrance test like TOEFL to prove that you have the strong skills in English by getting a good score in TOEFL.

 No. of attempts for TOEFL and Cost of each attempt:

 TOEFL test is conducted 30-40 times a year. This is more advantageous. You can take the test as many times as you wish. Universities do   not ask you how many times you have attempted the test; you only need to send one score to universities in which you have performed better. The cost of the TOEFL test is $120.

Countries which accept TOEFL scores:

 More than 130 countries and more than 7000 universities depend on TOEFL score for providing admissions. This means you will get more opportunities because many universities accept TOEFL score. Even top universities in U.S, U.K, and Australia prefer TOEFL score as one of the eligibility criterions.

Difficulty level in taking TOEFL:

 It is not easy to get good score in TOEFL. TOEFL iBT test measures the ability of non- native English speakers to use and understand English which is read, heard, written and spoken in the university classroom. The more you practice, the more you will be prepared on the test day.

Score requirement of the universities:
